Nothing Is An Overnight Success

Why do we always hear about people saying they are an “overnight success?”  Well to those who have not heard about something and then all of the sudden the person/product is everywhere, yes it seems as if it is an overnight thing.  But it’s definitely not. 

Building great things don’t happen overnight, especially in business.  You can have a great idea but not execute it right and have to go back to fix it or refocus it.  It could fail in many ways as a lot of things do unfortunately.  But if you have a good plan, dedication, passion and commitment to making this idea and dream come to life then you should go for it.  

Some of even the biggest companies of today started off small and took years to come about before anyone took notice to them when others were like “oh my goodness check this out, they are so popular and it just happened overnight!”  What people didn’t know is that it took them 5 or 6 years of building the foundation to be the company they are today where people actually know about them.  It’s a great feeling for so many people to hear about you and want to talk about your company.  All of that sweat and blood put into the nights you worked on this thing paid off. 

Our society seems to think that if you don’t become this overnight success by a certain time then you’re a failure.  Well that is crazy because that just doesn’t happen.  You have to work at it and the benefits will come back to you.  You’re going to get out of something what you put into it.
