Okay you asked for it… On the show last Saturday we talked about how we asked our friends on Facebook and Twitter how many customers they fired since they first started their business. Here are what some of them had to say:
“Since I started my business five years ago I have had to fire 10 flat out rude customers. They cost me time and money and were not worth my or my employees time.” – Anna in Seattle, WA
“I just fired my first customer the other day that has needed to go for quite some time but I was just too afraid to do anything about it. Now I realize it’s my company and nobody is but me is going to run my business.” Greg in Fort Worth, TX
“I never agreed with firing customers and truly believed “the customer is always right,” but this one customer changed my view on that. Needless to say I just fired my first customer after being open only 3 months.” Natilyn in San Diego, CA
“A customer just tried to tell me how to run my business this morning and what all I was doing wrong after we have been in business for over 30 years. I quickly sent her to a competitor. Fired only seven customers over 30 years and hopefully I won’t have to do many more than that.” James in Little Rock, AR
There were a lot more but we have to save some for a finale you know so make sure and check back often as we list more. And don’t forget to listen to the show every Saturday at 11am (est).
So question…How many customers have YOU fired?
