Dear Local Chamber of Commerce…

Okay we got into a discussion about this on the show this past Saturday and we are really passionate about it.  Well when we say passionate we mean this…We work with many chambers all over the US where they spread the word about our site Business Beware and we spread the word to our members about their organization for those that are in that area.  It’s a help me, help you thing which is awesome how businesses work together because that’s how it should be.

Well recently we have had a few that approached us wanting to work with us but they wanted us to pay for their membership to be a part of it.  Okay here is where we get a little edgy about this subject…Business Beware is a FREE tool for business owners to use and we are nationwide…not just local to a community.  Here is why we get mad at some chambers because to some of them it’s all about the $$.  Here we are offering this free tool and free membership to people and they want to charge us to reach their members.  We are not a fan of that especially when most chambers we come across are all about spreading the word because it’s a great thing for their members to know about. 

So to those who have asked or were thinking about asking no we are not interested in paying your membership fee but we would absolutely love to help promote you to our members and if you would pass on our info to your fellow business owner members.  To us, it’s not about the money, it’s about helping others.
